Tunis – Medina and Mediterranean Light

The journey begins in Tunis, where the UNESCO-listed Medina reveals a maze of souks filled with colours, spices and artisan crafts. At its heart stands the historic Zitouna Mosque, a symbol of the city’s spiritual heritage. The visit continues at the remarkable Bardo Museum, home to one of the world’s most important collections of Roman mosaics, set within a former royal palace. At sunset, the atmosphere shifts in Sidi Bou Said, where white and blue houses overlook the sea. A traditional tea with pine nuts completes the experience in one of Tunisia’s most iconic settings.

Tozeur – Oasis and Desert Gateway

Heading south, Tozeur introduces a completely different landscape. Its medina, built with distinctive yellow bricks arranged in geometric patterns, is unique in the Maghreb. Nearby, the oasis reveals a lush world of palm groves and rare date varieties, offering a striking contrast to the surrounding desert.

Chott el Jerid & Nefta – Silence and Spirituality

At sunrise, the vast salt lake of Chott el Jerid creates a surreal landscape of reflections, mirages and shifting colours. The journey continues to Nefta, a spiritual centre known for its mosques and peaceful atmosphere — a quieter, more contemplative side of Tunisia.

Douz – Gateway to the Sahara

Douz marks the entrance to the Sahara. Its traditional market reflects the Bedouin culture of the region, offering an authentic glimpse into desert life.

Tataouine & the Ksour – Desert Architecture

In the deep south, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic. Around Tataouine, ancient fortified granaries known as ksour reveal a unique architectural heritage.
